“Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord (Shekinah Glory) filled the tabernacle.” Exodus 40:34
This past summer, we read Exodus and learned how God led the Israelites and built the Tabernacle. In Exodus 40:34, as Moses and the Israelites completed the Tabernacle, the glory of the Lord came upon it. They trembled and bowed down in front of the amazing power and the glory of Holy God – Shekinah Glory.
This amazing God, Jesus Christ, came to us as Immanuel. Now, Jesus is with the Father in Heaven, and the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer’s heart and guides us to build His body, the Church together. “In him, the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built together spiritually into a dwelling place for God.” (Ephesians 2:21-22)
In this dwelling place is where the glory of the Lord (Shekinah Glory) stays. A year ago, I proposed to build our church as a holy temple in the community. I believe we have achieved a lot this past year.
- CollegeWe have started the international student Bible club at Quincy
- We have started SPARKLE to outreach the community
- We have two Bible classes to share the Word of God together
- We have read the Bible together since this summer
- We have re-enforced the foundation of our faith in Jesus Christ
We have been working hard to re-enforce our faith in Christ which is the foundation of the church. I believe we have demonstrated the grace of the Lord among the church members. Now, let’s be a SPARKLE light in our family, community, and at work.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1)
Our Immanuel Lord is with us in every corner of our lives. What shall we fear? We can do it because He promised, “I will be with you forever.” No Fear!! That is the faith. Let’s pray together, learn the Word of God together, and trust the Lord together evermore. Our Lord, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He will guide us into His marvelous light.
Be joyful, fruitful, and healthy in Christ throughout the new year!! Bless you, in the name of Jesus!!
