Dear Brothers and Sisters of Wollaston,
Happy New Year in Christ!!
We had a very extraordinary year in 2021 due to the pandemic. With Zoom Church Services and zoom Bibles studies, technology got us through the year. Our Preschool opened in the fall and we had, not one but, two celebrations for our 150th Anniversary. We said our good byes to some of our beloved members with wonderful memories to share. We still cannot take off masks ( unless we are eating). We managed to hold a Church Fair and it was very successful! Hurray for us!!! We were allowed to worship in the sanctuary, but right now singing is a challenge and distancing is still the safest way to greet. Even so, by the grace of God, our church is still doing well compared to many other churches. Others are struggling and may not survive if the situation continues.
Is the New Year going to continue to be like this? How long can we live in this way?
We just need to, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
My prayer is that our Lord protects and blesses all our members and friends abundantly throughout this New Year!
Have a blessed New Year 2022 in Christ,
- Lewann Mina
